Starting tomorrow is the Fifa women's world cup! Okay so like, I don't actually follow soccer, and the extent of my spazzing for men's world cup was pretty much OMGGG. FERNANDO TORRES IS SUCH A HUNK. ...er well that and the constant 'shit, peter crouch stop failing at life =('.

I'm actually sort of ridiculously excited to see if this will come to pass. ... Japan's first game is against England on Tuesday Sept 11 at 10pm Shanghai time .. which is 8am in Toronto.

I.. never actually fully extricated myself from H/D that I got myself into last month around the time of hp7 and the new movie - which is interesting, because I neither read the last book nor saw the 5th movie. lol.
Anywho, I'm very aware that everyone who reads this is pretty much akame fangirl up the wall, and so um. I feel sort of ... self conscious or something reccing fic at y'all. Buuuttt, this fic seriously wowed me like WOW. Draco gets turned into a ferret, there is beastiality and mpreg...lol. The thing itself is pretty much completely crackfic, but the writing style! GAH it's so well written, and so many bits are so completely heart wrenching and adorable ♥♥♥. ;___;

Sort of in order of want most. and then under each one, why I probably won't make it.
1. uwaterloo architecture.
Basically every year there are just under 1000 people who apply. The program has 70 openings. It's co-op and one of the hardest architecture programs to get into in N. America. Individual selection from the 80's based on a portfolio and interview.
2. mcmaster health sciences
This is the program that all the keener asian kiddies apply for. They accept 120 students if I'm not mistaken. ... or 160? *frowns* I forget. But... yeah. This is the program that all the keener asian kiddies apply for. Again pretty much 1000 applicants per year. 90% to even be considered. D:
3. hku med
... Yeah. I'm just not going to get into this program. Preference for local students, and holy bloody hell is it hard to get in when you're *local*. You basically have to be a flipping genius with a 98% average to get in as a foreign applicant.
4. u of t engineering science
... I don't really want this =(. Apparently eng sci is a ridiculously hard program, but when you're done a bunch of companies are like 'ooh look at the smart kid over thar. *recruits*' ... But yeah, I don't really want this =/
5. uwaterloo chem eng
I think I would have a fun as a chemical engineer. I don't think I'd be very good at it. And apparently the program for this is also pretty tough. ... but yeah. I don't really want this either ;P
