(no subject)
Well I have now officially started work! There is something serioulsy wrong with me cos I woke up today (only thanks to the alarm .. can u believe the one time that I actually felt like I could have slept in I had to wake up and go to work!) feeling like i hadn't slept in weeks!!!! Anyways felt like I was sleep walking most of the day .. I did a darned good impersonation of a person been awake, most of the day but the moment it was nearing 5 my eyes were trying to get on to automatic shut down! ( Infact they still are!!)
It was Malcolm's birthday ( this guy at work .. a really nice guy who I am convinced lives at work cos I have never ever seen him leave work!!!) and bless the boys socks he brought cheesecake!!! (well technically he's not a boy.. you cant go around caling a guy of 30 a boy but well you know ) But anyways it took me about 2 hours to get through that slice of cheescake and since you guys know me better than I know myself you would notice there was very something wrong with that!!! (further evidence that I have been off today) Can you believe that at points I FORGOT that the cheescake was there???
Anyways Im not a happy trooper cos I was planning ot finish this one work load off today itself BUT the darned thing got so bloody complicated and had me so very confused that I didnt know what to do!! ( and my manager was at a meeting so there was noone to ask how to do it) so i try doing other stuff until she got back ( and that was only briefly , cos she had to go off to another meeting) and i try to get a quick question in thinking that surely it cant be as complicated as it seems right? Wrong! She rattles off an explanation to the inconsistencies I had found ( I'm pretty sure she said that I need to do something extra cos it was a new line of business or something to that effect).. and i swear it made sense at the time but after I moved back to my comp and took another look at it I was all confused again!!! Anyways she wasnt expected back till 6 and i was feeling waaaaaaay too sleepy to manage till then so I made a mad dash out of there as soon as it turned 5!!! ( I know I know im a shoddy worker.. but they dont know that yet.. well atleast not till tomorrow when I ask her to explain it to me AGAIN)
Agh! Only two days of work and I'm already complaining!!! (So very Sri Lankan no?)
