*knock knock.........hello?

Hi.

I have no idea the last time I posted here.

Anyways, there's a lot that's probably happened.

Most present first I suppose.

Yesterday I was at Frank's (the coffee shop) just doing my thing, drinking too much caffeine, thinking about where else I should try to work, worrying about money, moving out, blah blah
and then Bruce huffs in rather quickly, while i'd just been talking to John Gulka (he says "hey", dad) about him, "When you getting off work?"-B
"Six thirty"-Moi
"Come by, I've got something for ya."-B
John and I high five right quick*
"You got it, Bruce"-Moi
"Zach, go with Bruce"-Frank
"right"-Moi
so we're double timing it down to the bar and he's talking about how there's a new General Manager and he wants to introduce me to him...for some reason Union Street goes through GMs rather quickly.
Anyway!
We walk all the way up to the second floor, and I walk into the office and there's two people i've met twice before and the new GM. Bruce proceeds to talk non-stop about me for about two minutes, feels like ten. Everybody is just kind of sitting there, not expecting to see me so soon I suppose. Bruce makes mention of how my service experience is a bit lacking due to having only been to two locations previously, but I have an extended knowledge of classic cocktails, I take pride in what I do, I always bring in money for the bartenders, I'm a local guy, on and on and on.

I'm standing there in a t-shirt and casual button up holding my hat heart going a mile a minute sort of dumbfounded at the situation. So Bruce finishes and short story long I'm going in to talk to the GM on friday between two and four. Third time I'll have gone into Union looking for a gig. ugh.

Also, Interviewed with ManPower, temp agency, got there late but it looks like I may be up for a position with Etrade out of Ballston, pay sounds good, data entry is terribly exciting sounding but something else to put on my resume wouldn't hurt.

Started running again today, I'm so bloody out of shape it's ridiculous. Started looking at my EMT book again, started reviewing German and Italian. Everything seems to be starting up again, just gotta stick with it.

Oh yeah, bought a Mandolin about a month back. That's a hoot, in a manner of speaking. Not used to playing an instrument that's more intended for accompaniment rather than holding the whole "band" if you will.
Works for my voice at least.
I'd like to try and find a show to be in perhaps in the near future, I miss singing and dancing and learning new things about dancing and singing.

I may or more not get my hands on a banjo in the near future.

The creek looks so breathtaking.
