incidently...
So the kettle starts whistling, i book it up the stairs like i normally do to get it off the stove.
i traverse the stairs with ease and hop over the baby gate at the top, it's what we use to keep the dogs from coming down in the basement and also to detour anybody who tries to run into the basement quickly.
so i hop that, take the kettle off and rather satisfied with myself proclaim, "i take pride in my agility" with a french accent of course.
so i begin to go back downstairs, grab the railings and hop the fence, skipping five or six stairs like i normally do, however...this time i don't land
the last stair and i trip, roll down the remaining four stairs and in a second or two i'm staring at the ceiling thinking about what i just said a moment before.
"fitting" is all i could muster to remark.
all the funny stuff that no-one sees
but it's okay, i may be agile but i'm hardly graceful so it'll probably happen again
