The fine line between weeks and months had long since blurred during his time in the mansion. B never felt so lethargic in his entire life, but that was mainly due to lack of stimulation to the mind. He read as many books as he could, ventured into dangerous rooms just to give himself a jolt of much-needed adrenaline, and generally tried to amuse himself. Not that it worked. He missed A terribly, but desperately tried to squash the emotion as selfishness on his part - A might be living his own life back in the read world, after all. It would be unfair of him to desire the other’s company when A could have moved on happily without him.
B was so lost in these thoughts that he didn’t even notice when he had suddenly been taken out of the library and brought somewhere else. It wasn’t until he caught a glimpse of white out of the corner of his eye that he looked up from his book, sighing in aggravation when he realized he wasn’t where he had been earlier.
