There were some dark wizards that decided to attack during the dance. But they left without hurting anyone too badly, Sir!!

........ From what I remember though, it's probably best most of you were ill prepared, if more of you had fought them, providing you didn't win outright, Which I doubt... Too many Wizarding kids are too passive when it comes to violence... They might have wound up actually killing some of you... *clearly very displeased at the very thought*

Yes, Sir that sounds like them. Have you hear of them before?

They did go after a few of the muggle born there... but overall it seemed like their main objective was to scare everyone more than anything.
*sigh* And they did seem the sort that would do something drastic if a bunch of student started beating them, though... so, I suppose you are probably right about it being a good thing more students didn't bring their wands...

Don't forget Sir, there is still the theory floating around that someone let them in. If that's really true... there would have likely just been more of them to stand off against the teachers if more had shown up.
Also there were some odd things happening during the whole festival too... I though it was just someone playing pranks but with this added into it all... they would have likely done something to inconspicuously put the teachers out of commission if there were more there. After all it wasn't like anyone was expecting something to happen...
So don't be too hard on your self for not going, OK?

Need less to say, if they haven't, look 'em up... You might need a Restricted Section pass for it though at the school... Those Dark Wizards are fond of using 'em.

Somehow I'm not surprised... If they're going to make a show of it like they did before... They tend to have wanna-be 'followers' among, well... Disturbingly pretty much everywhere

I guess I was just wondering if... *sigh* Master Loki exposed a small group of wizards that had a fondness for snakes and dark spells in the past. They took a kid and did some pretty nasty stuff to him. I guess I was just wondering it they were connected. ^^;

The Professors probably didn't want to scare us, or didn't think we were ready or something. I'm sure the older students know all about it. The curses don't really scare me Sir, though I might be a little odd in that. I just wish I knew some way of defending against them...

More than likely... Though there's a difference between telling you stuff to scare you, and educating you on shit you really should know! Especially after stuff like this... I don't like 'em... Mostly 'cuz I don't know what one of them would... I'm familiar with 'em, but I wish I wasn't... My 'Mother Dearest' is to blame for that.
I just wish there WAS a way to defend against them... I was told there isn't.

Well nothing like this happened before summer ^^ I'm sure they'll get into it just as soon as we get back! Learning something like that through experience is rough -.-

Even if they do a bit... maybe a dueling club would help out! It's a pretty established tradition in some school to have one, and from what I've seen of duels it'll help the younger years get used to fighting with magic too! It'd be just like having another sport in school. Only really useful against dark wizards. ^___^
