*Yawns*

It's kinda a sad state of affairs when you forget you're not listening to music, only to be reminded to do so by your LJ entry client. :-\ I needz more music.

But anyways, I've been working at The Apple Store in Corte Madera for little over a week now and I realized I probably do the most amount of physical work than any other employee there. My title is the ICS guy, or Inventory Control Specialist. So, basically, my job is to keep the front of the store stocked, the BACK of the store stocked, the off-site stock-room neat, tidy and, well, stocked, and then move the STOCK from the stock-room to the store when needed. I go back and forth soooo many times a day, oftentimes hauling (via dolley) laptops, desktops, etc, it's crazy. No wonder my feet hurt, but it's a good excuse to get out.

I actually work (kinda) for this OTHER ICS guy who's there all the time (M-F), five days a week. His name's Marco and he's cool/really nice/awesome. I like how I work in retail, but I don't really have to deal with the customers that much (unless they intercept me for a question as I enter or exit the store). (Corie, you can relate.). But the nice thing about working there is that all the people are REALLY nice there and really awesome (in general, for the most part...that was my disclaimer). Even the MANAGER, who's in his late 20s/early 30s, I'm assuming, is really awesome! Words fail me to describe the people I work with! Yay for an awesome environment! It's nice that I'm actually kept busy and not just sitting around waiting for the day to pass. *cough*, Bobert.

So, all in all, the job is at least tolerable, despite my inability to walk by the end of the day sometimes. But I'll deal. It's a nice way to pad out my resumé at least. Plus, hey, computers...and...discounts on them...and learning more ABOUT THEM!! :D Hey, maybe I'll even get offered a better position/promoted one day! Who knows?

Oh yeah, and I miss lots of people-too many to name. And yay for summer!
