My younger sister took her high school entrance exam early this morning. She was nervous over the week about the exam and whether or not she'd get in. I asked her how it went and she said it was a little hard. She was surprised when the teacher/proctor asked her if she needed help with something. At the elementary school we attended, teachers don't do that; they're assholes. After the test, our parents went to go get her pizza. I know she'll get in and when she does, she'll have a better time in high school then she did in that black hole called middle school. I really hope she get's Sensei as a teacher for Theology 1-2. She could use someone like him in her first year of high school.
Later, my brother, my sister and I went to go see Bedtime Stories. It was pretty funny and a nicely done film. I'd give it a 4/5 stars. There were many kids watching but because it was a family film, their eyes were glued to the screen and were entertained. The writers did an interesting job on the play-on-words and their definitions.
It was a good Saturday and I can't wait for next week! One of my Japanese friends is holding a bowling party to celebrate her first American birthday party! It's going to be a lot of fun and so now I'm learning basic Japanese phrases. Recognizing some of the symbols was difficult at first but it's gotten easier; it's writing them that's the pain. LOL
