Ve Vant Your Blood!

Whew! A lot has happen between yesterday and today.

Yesterday was the annual fall blood drive here at my school. I signed up to donate during my 5th hour class, Theology 7-8. I really don't like missing that class since I have a really awesome teacher but I have a greater disliking for my next class, band. So, assuming I am able to donate, I can miss 6th and 7th hour. I had to wait for someone to interview me for about 20 minutes or so then came the questions. I had to have my iron checked as well as my blood pressure, which had to be done twice due it being high because I was very nervous. Anyways, luckily this time I was able to donate blood! I guess that's because I haven't done so in over a year. I was the second to last person and it wasn't so bad. I was very happy to miss my 6th hour class but not so much for math. As I was recovering, my friend Aldo had P.E. in the gym, which is where the donating process was being held. So, he saw people were getting water to get hydrated so he said, "Snag me some water, please?" And I did. I ate dried fruit and raisins. Yum.

So I'm also happy because Sensei returned! I was walking to class expecting it to be another long day with Mr Lemon. When I first saw Sensei I literally thought I was hallucinating and it might be a side affect from blood donation. Anyways, everyone was really glad to see him and so he told us the story of his mom and how she passed away and some other stuff.
Him: "Have you been keeping track of what the class has been doing?"
Me: "What makes you say that?"
Him: "I'm not saying, I'm asking."
Me: "Yes, but whether or not I'll tell you is a different matter."
Him: *chuckles*
I saw him after school to tell him to have a good day 'n all. As I was about to leave I was going to take out my hand to offer to shake but instead he raised his hand and he wanted a high five (which took me a few seconds to realize that). Then he goes and says, "Thanks for being my friends." Um...I really didn't know how to respond to that.
