The universe is not expanding for no reason.
We are not alone...I refuse to believe that space is for us only to explore. I mean, think about it...it is already so wide...and the speed it is expanding at constantly, provides us no chance to ever reach the outer rims of it...not talking about how much it will have expanded by the time mankind even manages to create such technology so it'll be possible for us to make such journeys within a lifetime.
