Happy Thanksgiving!
Today is my favorite day of the year, so I thought to honor it by an update. There is SOOOO much to be thankful for! I have been given the gift of this beyond the moon wonderful family that I am honored to be apart of. This life that has challenged and blessed while continues to keep me looking forward questioning new purposes and how I can be used. The friends...both good and bad who have left their imprint on my life. Then there is Cookie, my dog the snuggle-juju-muckoos-pickle-cuddlebunny that I love love love.
What I am unfortunately NOT thankful for is this terrible cold that I caught Tuesday night which has reached its green boogie peak today. Every year my family serves at the community lunch at church. Our duties are to pack up lunches to deliver to the IV parks for the homeless who live out there and those who are unable to attend. It is one of the most important and meaningful thing but my mom is concerned that I may be contagious and should stay home to rest. Maybe I can wear one of those surgical masks...but then maybe that would offend some people that didn't understand its function? Ugh, gross.
