I think I'm going to learn the solo to Hot Stuff on the guitar. It's such a beasty song, and it really puts me in the mood for slash, heh.
I played baaadminton today :D it was good. And then a very very very old friend who I haven't seen or spoken to for about 11 years contacted me! He found me on Bebo or something, when he was browsing the old

Also my personal favourites are Macho Man by TVP. Those two songs on constant repeat have helped me through much smut in the past!

I also listen to "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" for happy-go-lucky 'fics and "Final Countdown" for more dramatic ones...yeah. >>;
Ps. Glad you heard from your friend! My cousin, who I've never even met before, is moving back over here from Africa and I can't wait to meet him :)

Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd for very angsty "I miss you" fics. It suprs me on! Actually, most of Pink Floyd suprs me on, hehe.

Rent a very large hall!

Sorry, it's late XD.
I LOVE Final Countdown. Also We Don't Need No Education. I think it could be a cool soundtrack for a fanvid about the companions, lol!
And for angsty 'fics, it's "My Immortal" from Evanescence. The acoustic version though, because that doesn't make me too "omfg i have to jump off the nearest ledge!!11!!elven1!"

Yes, Another Brick in the Wall is a good song for rebellious fics! I like that song much.
Evanescence makes me soo depressed, like Radiohead. I cannot listen to one of their songs without wanting to fling myself out the window. But they're so good you just have to listen to them D:
The obvious choice for (silly) battle scenes would be Kung Fu Fighting, but I have yet to think of one for a serious scene. Hmm.....

Another Brick In The Wall is so awesome! As are Evanescence. I once listened to them when I was in hospital...oops. XD. But they are brilliant, and have a new album coming out soon! ~

Evangelion!! Warrgghh! I flipping love that song! I learned how to play it on the piano and everything, I was a little obsessed with it. And I attempted to learn the words, but I probably ended up singing something obscene. I wish I knew Japanese :(
I will download buy those songs, hopefully they will aid to my crappy battle scenes. I've never really been a fan of gore.. Squick squick.
Haha I'm running out of icons to post. I wish measly unpaid accounts could get more than 15. 15 is just not enough! D:

The Evangelion theme seriously inspires me. I first heard it around my friends' house - they're total anime freaks and they made me sit down and watch the show...afterwards I rushed straight home to download buy the song. It's so wonderful!
Yup, the new Evanescence album is called The Open Door and you can find snippets of previews on YouTube. =D

And also the moods. They're lovely. But the cute smilie faces aren't so bad. If I save up I might consider a paid account, but it all depends.
Anime gaaah anime is just love. Well I have more manga than anime but gaahh lovelove. Except I get fustrated watching/reading it because I'm all like "grah I'll never be able to draw like that". But I do love it. Ghibli studios... Mwah!

Custom mood themes are really cute <3 But I've gone back to the little nekko cats, 'cause they're just as sweet! =D

I watched this anime (I can't remember what it was called but it was "El ___" something and grah it's annoying me but aanyway) and the Japanese voices were sooo cool but there was an English version, and it was so crappy I ended up watching the subtitles.
In fact, dubbing in everything annoys me. I have a german friend who has german TV and we were watching the Simpsons and Homer's voice was so creepy! It was like they had turned him into a pedo! I never watched the Simpsons in German again...

o_O; I have a German friend over MSN, and he was telling me about dubbed Ninth Doctor Who (yup. They dubbed it...). He actually got to a point where he couldn't stand it anymore and he downloaded the British version, or something. Don't blame him, meself. Gotta have Nine's northern accent in it's fully glory!
