I enjoyed this -- a very different take on Lily and James' wedding than I usually see in fic.

Remus's thoughts made me ache.

I like the wartime wedding scenario, that it might just be Lily and James and a few friends, not a big family do.

Thank you very much! :) The whole first war thing got me thinking about that, how it probably was a tiny wedding. I also thought that Lily and James's parents might all have been dead by then, as Harry went to Petunia not that long afterwards. :(

Ooh, this was so deep for just 800 words. There were so many different things explored here. I really loved the rushed wedding, how they were both nervous and not at all acting like life is perfect. Oh poor Remus *hugs him*. Great job!

Awww. This is lovely writing, but just a bit melancholy. What should be a joyous day for these friends is not very happy at all. I feel sad for the nervous couple and their rushed marriage, and for poor Remus with his unhappy thoughts and insecurity.

Aw! I do like to think that Remus and Sirius are happy together in heaven now, with no worries. Not sure whether that isn't also a depressing thought. :(
