SO I found a new place! yay! I just can't figure out how to get my stuff down there. I have to look around for a moving company. I don't have that much stuff but it's too much for me to carry. Some moving companies have minimums of stuff you need to have for it to be worth their while.
My sister who has lived on her own since she was 18 has been a good mentor helping me make decisions and stuff. I can't imagine being her however this is challenging even at 25. Maybe because it's my first time doing these things on my own.
I haven't bought any books for school yet and last year's class told me it will cost about a grand to get all the books. I have to start hunting the books down.
My mom is the best. She wasn't feeling all that well and she went shopping with me to find stuff for my new place (and she paid for stuff). I left all my apartment stuff at my ex bf's place. So I have to re-buy lots of stuff I bought 2 years ago. It sucks that she is remodeling at the same time that I have to move out. She has so much on her mind she doesn't really have time to worry about what I'm doing but she still does what she can.
We got an already made chicken salad from costco today it was ok. I like chicken salad that I make (Linda taught me how) much better. But hey when you are tired and hungry premade food that is not grease-filled is a godsend. We tasted some awesome veggie burgers and bought them, but they taste more like tempura than a veggie burger.
Is is a sin that I like veggie burgers with BACON and guacamole?
