Birthday Picnic of awesome
After previous years of not being able to get people together cos I decided dates at the last minute, this year I booked everyone for this weekend in Jan. Mind you, we didn't decide where we were going until about 2 weeks ago. But it still worked.
Picnic for the group of us Aber undergrad friends was a go. And we had brilliant weather. Sunshine for the full 4 hours - the torrential rain and thunderstorm held off until we were inserting kids back into the cars. Amazing time, foods (they brought me home cooked birthday cake! With a candle!) and catch up -convos and generally silliness. Best birthday gathering for a couple of years :-)
