Last night I went to a Steampunk show
In Dublin.
2.5h away by bus.
Completely worth it.
This week I learnt that no-one I work with even knows what Steampunk is, a worrying discovery that was leading me to lose faith in humans as a species - until one of our interns happened to be on the bus up to Dublin with me and agreed that Steampunk was awesome and he wished he could come too instead of attending the birthday party he was committed to. FAITH IN HUMANITY RESTORED.
It was great and I saw aerial hoop for the first time and it was AWESOME. My mind was blown. I wish I could do that :-)
