No, really!
I'm glad I watched it. Even if it was with mild snarking. It was most definitely not the worst thing I've ever seen ever. I did feel the lack of a Repetition Buzzer (a la Just A Minute) though. I know they needed to get their sound-bites into the clip shows so they had to attempt to get them into every answer but it got ridiculous a points. A bit frustrating for the committed viewer, we ended up shouting "YES WE KNOW!" at the TV at various moments.
High point of the night: Nick Clegg brought up Trident, as you do. Having made his point the camera lingered on him for a moment longer and he could clearly be seen to make a neat circle around where it was presumably written on his handy notepad. "done that" *circle* *add wee flourish and hint of pleased smile*
Bless. (He had nice shoes)
Gordon managed not to suck his lip over much and Cameron did his best to look intelligent. Funniest moments of the evening included Labour pretending that the Lib Dems were with them on various issues with Nick Clegg giving him the Oh No You Di'int! face across the stage.
Announcer bloke: This Trufax?
Nick Clegg: Nowai!
Gordon: D:
General public: Heeeeee!
No questions on the Environment though. *Sadface*
