Long awaited BRAINSECS finally turned up at about 7pm (relief! brainsecs ftw) and I was virtually asleep by 9, hanging on for CSI but watching most of it with my eyes shut

Ah! I take it, from your comment in your post, that you are aware of when you're going to have one? I ask, 'cos my mum suffered from epileptic attacks (until they found and removed a small benign brain tumour), and she never knew when they were coming...

I get a goodly amount of warning yes. (Don't worry - it's so amusing a strange thing that I am more than willing to spread facts with a liberal trowel of TMI).
I only get them every 6 months (yay for seasonal weirdness!) and spring always brings a week of deliciously manic urges culminating in BRAINSECs and then sleeeeeeeeeeeeeep.
Anyway, I'm glad to slept!

They've given up on me now. Partly because the time that they did the tests was always equidistant between seizures so there was never anything to see
