Where are the bodies? *looks around, but sees no dead Evans parents* Dramatic potential? *looks at your post again, and finds the actual fate of the parents* HAH! I *knew* it! Ya can't fool me, Plank, I've watched too many Mexican soap-operas :D
Why is it that, in every Plank-written darkfic, everybody gets pregnant first and only gets married afterwards?

To be fair, I like the explanation of the 'stick from our old tree'.
The parents' letter, however? Makes no sense. The fact that Lucius Malfoy raped her? Maybe, just maybe, it could work, if it weren't so RANDOM. If you want to make it plausible, telling the reader via a letter from presumably-dead-parents-who-weren't-supposed-to-know is not the best idea, methinks. Also, what are the odds that Lily has gotten pregnant from Lucius?
Please don't tell me normal secondary schools in Britain teach their students Reading, Writing and Arithmetic. Over here, we learn these things at 1st grade.
Why does a 17-year-old - an adult in the wizarding world, no less - have to go to an orphanage? Doesn't she have any friends to stay with? (Oh, no, not Loser!Lily again!) Can't she get a job and rent a house in a wizarding community?

I like how she dedicates two paragraphs in telling us that she won't describe us the packing Lily did *snickers*
