[Lily is laying on the ground outside. In the snow. And not in a deliberate way. She looks like she was dropped there and her wand is laying near her body from when she dropped it. As well as groceries a little bit farther away. Far more food is spilling out of that bag then should have been there in the first place, but that's not important ( Read more... )

[Et voila, the reason for Cissy to have a cold. Thanks!

She's out looking for Lily anyway, since she has a mad craving for sweets and wonders if Lily would indulge her by baking. When the redhead isn't in her room, Narcissa goes for a wander, since there is no response over the journals. She does NOT expect to find a Lily-shaped bundle lying in the snow.]

Lily? Lily! [Shake, shake, why can't we heal wandlessly yet.]

[Thank you for reminding me she had gone off for groceries.

Lily does not respond. The energy draining has left her alive, but for the moment, quite comatose. Even with a healing, she probably wouldn't wake up unless actual energy was transferred.]

[You're welcome.

Also, cue panic. Narcissa does not have her wand.]

Bother, bother, bother dammit. [Sorry, Lily, she's going to try and use yours. Poor etiquette, but she's pretty sure you won't mind. It feels weird in her hand, and she hopes this works.]

Enervate!

[Of course Lily wouldn't have mind. Proper etiquette wasn't as important as helping someone. Of course, there was a problem in telling Narcissa this.]

W-wha...

[For the briefest moment, Lily opens her eyes. The spell brought her from unconsciousness, but it didn't undo the affects of what made her so in the first place and in her drained state, she almost immediately passed out again.]

oh RL. Why must you get in the way? sweetcissy January 26 2010, 00:32:16 UTC
No, no no no, come on, Lily.

[Not willing to try healing again with an unfamiliar wand, she opts for a much more basic charm.]

Mobilicorpus!

[This seems to work much better, and when Lily's comatose form floats up from the snow, Narcissa breathes a sigh of relief and steers her towards their apartment. It's closer than the clinic, and she hopes to avoid any possible trouble. She's aware of how bad it must look.]

Because it's annoying like that. 7thyearlily January 31 2010, 00:13:03 UTC
[Lily, unfortunately, can't respond. She floats just fine though.]

gainful employment is good for paying bills, and that's about it! sweetcissy January 31 2010, 00:28:26 UTC
[Careful not to bump Lily's head on the door frame as she steers her inside, Narcissa directs them both to Lily's room, where she keeps one eye on the floating girl as she turns her bed down.

Removing Lily's boots and cloak is easy, but the coat is trickier... once successful, she directs her sleeping form to the bed, and releases the charm.

Then piles on the blankets.]

Come on, Lily, you have to wake up...

[She would continue to sleep. She'd still breathe, and once the outside air is gone, she won't be so cold anymore. But she won't move for quite a while.]

[And Narcissa will continue to play nursemaid until she wakes. It's an odd feeling, but she doesn't want Lily to get hurt.]
