[Voice] (Also backdated to about one on the same day as waffles.)

[Locked with fifty percent hackability to Narcissa. She's still getting the hang of it.]

Narcissa, you okay? You kind of vanished pretty quick without warning.

[There is a lengthy pause. When Narcissa finally speaks, it's with a faux cheerfulness you'd have to know her really well to spot.]

I'm fine. I'll be back later, to... help you clean up. [The moderate disgust colouring her last words is easy to notice, though.]

No need. I took care of it. Since I couldn't stop to check on you before, I decided to just keep working while I was moving and got it all done.

[She really is too nice. And doesn't mind housework all that much.]

...oh. Erm, alright. [She's surprised. The kitchen looked terrible when she left. To take a walk. For no reason.]

Don't worry about it. I work better when I do everything all at once. And waffles don't usually leave anything that's hard to clean up if you get it cleaned up right away. [She thinks Tom might have done something because she didn't hear a word out of them and then both left? It's suspicious.]

I'm glad you're all right though.

Well, thank you.

Oh, I am. Really. [She so isn't. She's moved in with the sort of person she's supposed to hate for merely existing.]

Great. I also saved some waffles. Do you have a sweet tooth? [She isn't sure if she believes Cissy or not, so will just be really nice until she is.]

Ever had Belgium waffles?

No. Will this result in a spectacular mess in the kitchen again?

Only if we start throwing around the plates like frisbees.

[There is a confused silence as Narcissa attempts to puzzle out what a "frisbee" might be. She hates displayng any ignorance, but in light of recent conversations regarding tolerance...]

Like a what?

It's a toy. It's a flat, circle, like a plate, but usually made of plastic that people throw around and catch. It spins when you throw it right to glide through the air.

If you threw a plate like one, it'd make a mess pretty quick if it had food on it.

[Confusion is still evident in her tone.] ...but why would anyone throw a plate?

Erm. I would like to speak with you. About something important.

It was a joke. To say that it shouldn't make a mess unless some strange, weird thing happened.

What is it?

I... would prefer not to discuss it through these books. If you don't mind.

Oh? All right. Well, come on back. I'll get the waffles read. [Switch to action?]
