This is how cool my job is:
Today I learned that the absolute best first step in ridding someone of excessive debt (i.e., more than a person has equity in their home to pay off), is for them to simply stop paying their credit card bills.
The exact way this was phrased to me was, "Discover calls about the bill? Say 'fuck you,' and hang up the phone. Visa? 'Fuck you.' Mastercard? 'Fuck you.'"
The best part? If you heard the rest of the story, you'd realize he was right.
P.S. I swear that my next update will not be finance related.
P.P.S. I would really love to have the time to take a nice young lady out on a date.
