Hey! This game is missing something!
I bought Knights of the Old Republic, but upon opening it to install it, I discovered that the first disc was completely missing. I've had games that fuck up due to my own system's shortcomings, but never have I opened a brand new game and had a disc missing. XD I dug out the reciept so I'll be taking that back for an exchange later today. I'll definately request that the game be opened so I can be sure I don't have to keep coming back. If that one ends up missing as well, it might alert them to a faulty shipment and avoid the problem in the future. If not, I get my game and everything is shiny. In either way, someone wins. I'd rather win and only have them open one box instead of a bunch. >.>
Other than that mishap, I bought some new summer shoes: a cute pair of Hello Kitty flipflops. They fit my feet a lot better than my old Zim ones. Before that, Serena and I went to see our friends George and Robin in their swanky new ranch house. Robin's about five months preggo and still doing house repairs. She is so the man in that relationship. XD They have a new kitty named Raven that is too adorable. Very friendly and energetic. I wanted to take her home. XD We stayed long enough to watch George fail as a farmer as he'd rented a tiller to prepare some land for Robin's future garden. I suggested a hoe to work the ground up, but nope, apparently the tiller was supposed to be faster. If he'd known how to use it, maybe. XD As it was, he struggled more than he accomplished. Poor George, he should stick to sheparding the future comic geeks of America. XD
Aside from all that, the day was largely uneventful. I imagine today will be just as mundane, but that's okay. I don't really need any excitement. ^^
