Kibum P.O.V
I lifted my head and realized that the car we are riding had bumped into a huge tree. I looked outside the car to search for a person who can help me but found no one. I tried to move but a sharp pain filled my head, blood had flowed from my wounded head, and my heart beat fastened. I turned to look at him and my heart started to beat even faster as I saw the smirk on his bloody face. I am scared of the possibility of what might happen to me.
He grabbed my arm and made me move closer to him. I gathered the strength that was left in me and tried to free myself from him, but he was stronger. “Please, Jjong. Let me go. Jinki-.”
“He can’t have you.” He said with an evil smirk on his face. How could a guy who looked like an angel turn into Lucifer?
I met him when we were in high school, and he became my best-friend during college. I noticed his possessiveness way before that, but I kept convincing myself that he was only possessive because I was like his younger brother. But things changed when I started dating our friend, Lee Jinki. At first, he only bullied Jinki but started to hurt him later. Being a good person he was, Jinki forgave him. Until one day, Jonghyun tried to kill Jinki and that was the time I needed to take actions. Jonghyun was thrown into jail. I had thought it was the end of Jonghyun’s evilness.
He held my face with his bloody hands and said, “I was away for 7 years. Don’t you miss me? I thought we’re friends”
“A friend is not someone who will hurt you and your future husband!” I shouted as I struggled to free myself from his hold.
“I didn’t mean to hurt you, Kibummie. I just did that because you were so stubborn. Didn’t I tell you before? Lee Jinki can’t love you more than I do” He whispered
“Stop it, Jjong. I am already getting married to Jinki”
He laughed at me and took something from his pocket.
“He can’t have you.” He smirked, and held my arm tightly as he lifted a lighter. My eyes widened and tried to beg him to not start the lighter but it was too late as I watched it fall onto the back seat.
The next thing I knew was that I felt the burning sensation of the fire when he smiled at me and softly said, “At last we will be together.”
