I always enjoy watching you reach epiphanies. (I'm 90% that's not how you spell that). Yes, I think that's how a great many people live. Yes, it's sad.
I'm conflicted about the whole moving back here thing. On the one hand, Chicago is what you've wanted for *years* now, perhaps since I've known you. It's kinda sad to see that desire apparently not reach fulfillment. On the other, in a purely selfish way, I'll be happy for you to be back here. I've missed our dinners and such.
On the third hand (err... yeah), I know that there are one or two things awaiting you here that will make you happier than Chicago ever did. So in that way, I'd see moving back to Albany as more of a success than a failure. And that's a good thing.
As for the job thing, you have to decide if this is what you want. Do you want to be in hospitality services? If so, then go for it. Full force. That's the way you do everything. You don't half-ass anything. When you set your mind on a goal, that tends to become your focus. You're a unique individual that way. And that's also a good thing. I look forward to watching your climb through the corporate hotel ladder.

I love Chicago, and it's been everything I hoped it would. But I think there are even better things for me back east.
We'll see. I'm working the network. And not half-assed, either. :)
