My, so many special occasions for you to celebrate!

I suspect that these shall be a busy two weeks for you.

Busy enough, I suppose, yeah. I mean, none of those people are even here to celebrate those things so it's more an honourary thing than anything else. Usually I visit the Hall just to say hello but that's a bit sad, isn't it, so maybe just mentioning it and remembering might be enough instead of spending an afternoon alone with all those portraits. Too bloody depressing.

And what a shame it is that they are not. You seem to have a few brothers, then?

Six older ones.

[... damn. This. Curse.]

Bill's the oldest and the one married to Fleur, he's eleven years older than me; Charlie works with dragons and lives in Romania; Percy's an absolute git, I don't even want to talk about him; the twins Fred and George run a joke shop, and Ron is Ron. Best mates with Harry and Hermione.

That is quite a large family.

Do you normally get along with them? The gitty one non-withstanding. [No, he has no idea what a git is.]

Of course. I mean, yeah, siblings fight and we all do stupid things, but I love them loads. I'd feel better about Percy if he just got over himself and apologised to the family but he's too bloody proud, I imagine. My other brothers, on the other hand, are brilliant. I've learned loads from all of them and I don't think being years and countries apart really changes things for us.

My, Percy sounds like quite the troublemaker. It's good that physical distance isn't hindering your emotional closeness.

Mum would be upset if we let it get to us, I think.

What's that? Hammer doesn't realize 'mum' is actually 'mom'? NONSENSE. 8| horrible_protag August 7 2011, 23:57:14 UTC
Ahh, Mum sounds very intelligent, then. You shouldn't let the foolhardy actions of other affect your lives.

Of course, as a superhero, I must rid cities of those who are too foolhardy.

Yes. I take my job quite seriously, although it is admittedly much different in the City than it is back in Los Angelos, which is where I'm from.

How is it, er, different? If you've got superheroes back home then all this magic isn't too strange, right?

My responses are later. So- more apologies from me. horrible_protag August 12 2011, 23:01:00 UTC
The laws and organization of crimes are much different.
