I'm- hurt, yes. But it's alright, this is nothing after all- I'm doing my best to be a good girl for Papa. Papa wouldn't be very happy if I let myself become useless, after all.

Matt let me know where the house was. He waited for me and took care of me when I came. He was- upset at the look of my hurt places, but he was nice and helped bandage me up well and now I'm in the room with the big puffy chairs and the big... piano, Matt said it was.

*it doesn't take too long for him to find her and his eyes widen when he notices the little girl...was not human. He had never encountered that species before but he decides not to worry about it now. He does worry about the strong smell of blood. It meant she had to have been badly hurt. He tries to smiles and approaches her*

*Nana jumps as Subaru enters the room, just a bit startled- but not losing control of her false limbs or her vectors because of it. She looks up at the young man and smiles politely, clasping her unfeeling 'hands' together on her lap as she scoots over to make room beside her on the couch*

Subaru? Hello, Subaru-... *she looks up at him a bit sheepishly, unsure of what to do or say. She's met one person here so far, after all, and he was very bothered by her wounds... but he was nice. Nana wants to put forth the effort to be nice, because Papa would want her to be happy and to make friends, right...?*

[[ooc: now that she's bandaged-up she's less obviously wounded, but her dress sleeves are torn and ragged. Papa laundered her dress before putting it back on her, so there's no blood in it, but perhaps even blood stains still remain? *he smiles at the girl and sits beside her, noticing immediately something is wrong with her limbs though he isn't sure what*

Hello, Nana. It's nice to meet you *he smiles at the girl, trying to make her relax since she seemed to be a bit uncomfortable* No. I was brought here, just like you. Everyone I met so far is from other place. *he is thoughtful for a while, trying to think of an easy topic* How is your home, Nana?

*she looks up at Subaru's face as he smiles- and even though she has never really seen Papa smile, she assumes that Papa's smile must be nice and gentle like this. it's much easier to smile back then, even though she shifts a little and her fingers work against each other in not-quite-natural ways in her brief elation.*

Brought here? I see... *Nana tilts her head thoughtfully, reaching a hand up and tapping her fingertip against her lip briefly, pink eyes unfocusing slightly in thought*

My home is... alright. Papa's there, so I don't mind it. But it's nice here so-far, there are chairs and plenty of other people. *she smiled, glancing back at Subaru's face. She doesn't sense any other Diclonius here, either, but after meeting Lucy and being hurt so badly by her... she's grateful for that*

Yes. *despite what she had said, Nana's smile didn't falter as she raised one arm up and patted at a point just above the middle of her bicep lightly, producing a faintly hollow noise rather than a fleshy sound. part of her ragged sleeve edge slid up as she did so, revealing that the natural moulded skin-tone of her prosthetic arm suddenly met with bandages that seemed to tuck underneath the false skin- the bandages were clean and white, thankfully, not the least bit red-tinted, but the visual suggestion was still rather grotesque*

Matt helped me, he bandaged me up well... he said that I wouldn't get an infection now, and that I can heal-up nice and it should stop hurting soon. Is Matt a friend of yours?

It would be lonely to be somewhere strange all alone, I think- *Nana smiles and laughs a little, reaching a hand up to scratch at her scalp near one little horn- then pauses, patting her horns and blushing furiously, glancing sharply at Subaru as if suddenly very worried that he would disapprove of her* A-ah-... Papa's neck string isn't here, my-... *Nana pouts awfully, suddenly looking terribly crestfallen* It's not-... weird, is it? I'm sorry about them...

Yes. But that's because we have been traveling together for a while now. And somehow we ended up here.

*he blinks and only then notices the strange things in her hair were not some strange accessories but seemed like real...horns? He smiles gently at her* Not at all. You don't have to apologize. It's alright *true, it was his first time seeing someone with horns but he didn't care if it was strange. This little girl was adorable and she seemed to worry that he would find her weird. He only found her nice and terribly shy. She kinda reminded him when he had been her age*
*he smiles and holds one of her hands, trying not to notice how cold it was to the touch* If you ever need anything, you can ask me, Nana. I'm your friend now, ok?

*blinks, eyes widening a little as Subaru smiles and takes her hand. She can't feel him, really, but she's nevertheless overwhelmed by the gesture and the words that accompany it*

You're my friend? *she smiles just a little, faintly pink brows knitting-up. she feels silly for her reaction to his gesture, but Nana's eyes start to water despite her and she reaches up with her other hand to scrub at her eyes quickly, trying to compose herself* Thank you-... I've never had a friend before. I won't be any trouble, but- thank you, Subaru-!
