Spider webs = Love

I just got back from seeing Spider-Man 2 with Twisted. I have three words for you: It rocked! HARD!

The first words out of my mouth as we left the theatre were, "It's official, I want to have Tobey Maguire's spider babies. We can live in a giant spider web of love." Apparently that was really funny because Kendra laughed pretty hard.

The movie far surpassed my expectations. It was even better than I had imagined. 3 times better than the original, and that's saying a lot because I absolutely love the movie.

There was obvious character development, angst, action, and romance. The perfect ingredients for a good movie. I was either laughing my booty off or sitting on the edge of my seat with my hand over my mouth for the entire movie. *le sigh*

Favorite parts:
-Pete vs The Broom Closet of Doom. Perfect way to start a movie.

-Doc Oc. I had my reservations, but I think Alfred Molina pulled it off quite smashingly.

-Bruce Campbell as the know-it-all usher.

-Hal Sparks! With an earing! And a dog!

-The Asian woman and her violin rendition of the Spider-Man theme. Fantastic!

-The "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head" montage. Sooo geeky and cute!

-"I'm back!.... Ow, my back." LMOA.

-The entire train fight. I got chills when the mask came off.

-Mary Jane's reaction to Pete as Spider-Man and his, "This is really heavy."

-Pete and MJ's giant spider web of LURVE.

-Harry finally taking after his father and freaking out. Mwa hahaha....

-M. J. running through the street in her wedding dress. Very Runaway Bride.

-The big ol' smootchola at the end. All together now, "Awww..."

Cannot say how much I loved the movie. What's next?
