This evening I went to see Parkinson being filmed...
It featured Ant and Dec, who went through a rather succesful in public relations...
Parky: have you ever taken drugs?
A & D: no, we're nice clean young men who old ladies love..
okay, it wasn't exactly like that, but you get what I mean...
Another guest was Dame something or other (the woman from the sound of music, she looks great considering she must be ancient). She seems like an intelligent woman and had some interesting things to say but parky and her talked a lot about things I know little about so there was little interest there.
Michael Palin, the man, the legend.. In many ways I want to be just like him, the way he can talk about serious things, yet insert some humour and captivate people with anicdotes.. yes Mari, I know I'll never get there..
Jools Holland and Tom Jones: they were pretty cool..
Parky just had a habit of repeating the last thing somebody said, and the dame woman said something slightly interesting and parky said "amazing". I'm very dissapointed with him.. as soon as somebody started talking about something interesting he changed the subject with another (crappy) question..
