It's weird that bay area hospitals are doing this when the closest confirmed case is still in San Diego, unless there's been a very recent update that I haven't yet read about.

Branham High School was a confirmed case for Patient #1 with several classmates sick, but not yet confirmed. That isn't a Fear, that is confirmed and must be taken seriously.
And This is Testing Week. Schools do Not close down for frivolous reasons during Testing Week.
Frankly, I would like to see more serious attention spent Every time there is a Nasty Flu going around, I got gravely ill from bronchitis after a bad flu in 1971, but Flu is Just Flu, nothing to worry about. Tell the 20,000+ people who will die this year from Just the Flu.

There are confirmed cases in San Jose, CA. Branham High School is closed, and one of the elementary schools, and this is Testing Week. Nothing stops testing week. Both schools had students with relatives from Mexico visiting over the Easter Holidays. And two confirmed cases in Marin County. Grandma traveled to Mexico, got it and gave it to a grandbaby.
And there is now a US death in Texas.
I just hope that it blows over before it hits pandemic range.
And the Repugs stopped the Pandemic Preparedness Funding in Stimulus bill as being too much Pork. Who is porking now?

Though the US death was a girl from Mexico brought over the border for treatment, just to be pedantic.
