Does anybody want to rent us a yacht? :)

I had a pretty good day today. Anime Club went well. Rob and I annoyed each other a little bit, but we still love love each other. Victoria came by for a little while but she didn't like the pictures Rob had of her. Again. And I think we pretty much have given up on the idea of tracking whoever the anonymous person was who made the racist comments on her lj. I still think it's that Glen Burnie person who we caught, but we can't prove anything. Well, as long as there's no more, I guess it's done and over with.

I told Pat of my idea of renting out a boat for Otakon (an annual anime convention in Baltimore). Hotels are basically gone now and the prices are steep. So why not rent a boat for the two nights? You get to sleep on it. It's something new and different. We could dress up as pirates (I've heard some of them are into that sort of thing.) We don't have to worry about being loud so we could role-play. Seriously I think it would be a lot of fun. We just have to check and see the laws and regulations that pertain to the piers, and how much it would cost to rent a yacht. Even VP Pat looked like he might consider it.

Then we ran into yet another Pat in front of the library. He talked about his troubles at the couches. Rob said it's mostly because Pat's a Christian. I think it strange that usually the people who claim to hate Christians because they're close-minded or any of the other criticisms they throw at them are usually much more close-minded themselves than any Christian I've ever met. The only thing more annoying is the Crusades argument. How many years ago was that? Almost every race and religion at some time has persecuted another. We all have blood on our hands from some ancestor. Not even "Americans" are immune. We slaughtered the Native Americans for their land and lynched our blacks. And no before you ask I'm not Christian or any religion that branches off from it.

After Club, I ran into my friend, Brian, and Professor Richardson. I chatted with them for quite awhile. They wanted to know how I was doing, and in turn, I found out Brian submits freelance pieces to local newspapers. He brought up covering Otakon for the Baltimore Sun. I told him I thought that was a great idea. He also asked if I saw Tori's piece last summer on Art's movie. I told him yes, and that reminded me that I need to email Art, reminding him to invite me to the premiere since he did promise. Richardson asked if I was into photography. I wasn't last year. I'm awful at it, but I do enjoy it. I wonder how he knew.
