friend family and furry sister

i lost a good friend today. friend family and the best furry sister anyone would ask for. best damn dog ever even if she did make that huge pee stain on the carpet that never really came out. i remember when she would grab the back of my shoe and drag me around the yard. or pretending to throw the burger and she would almost lose her mind trying to find it  in the back yard and then naomi would feel sorry for her and throw the burger. or the time mom got that huge bed and babs would use the stairs to get in the bed. when she learned to give hugs that was awesome. i remember when we found out she was allergic to a bunch of different foods and had to be put on a special diet cause all the hair on her butt fell out. i'm sure it didn't feel good but a dog with a bare butt just strikes me as funny. her hair grew back so she was okay. i remember playing hide and go seeks in the dark and babs would always cheat. she can see in the dark.i remember taking her on walks and having to spell the word walk or she'd freak out and try to kill you going down the stairs to get to the door first. the many MANY camping trips and hikes we used to take.

a dog in a house full of cats owned by a cat lover and i'm sure babs was the most loved out of all of them. i don't envy those who saw her go. just the thought of her not being here anymore is hard enough to deal with.she was never really my dog but i loved her just the same.

i'm going to miss her fuzzy hugs and good girl barks.
