Since I have been silent on LJ, changes have been made. I have moved again and hopefully have a permanent address for the first time in over a year-fingers not yet uncrossed. I find myself in an unbelievably awesome apartment in a mansion on Lasalle Ave. which is on the National Historical Register. My rent includes all utilities including basic

Glad to have you back online! And your home sounds lovely. We may miss you way down South here on Lake St., but I used to live near Stevens Square and that can be good.

Snow Leopard will only work on Intel Macs, so you must have a newer model. The desktop Macs open by popping a small lever; no screws at all. Don't know about a laptop. You may have to take it to the Genius Desk at the Mall (or other Apple Stores).

Working from home is great, especially in this kind of weather.
