I can't believe it's almost been a year...
since I last posted here...I started back to work this past year...teaching preschool again. I love it. It's like my creative outlet...in fact, being off this summer, I have dreams of how I will decorate my classroom in the fall...
Things are going great here...my marriage is wonderful to say the least...my love for Brent grows stronger every day.....and almost six years later...I am still giddy just spending time with him. I know....sappy.
I have actually become friends with his ex wife..we do stuff together with the kids...I helped her find a job...even dragged her to my bookclub....she finally left that psycho and found a new guy right away and is now remarried...and seemingly happy. It's just so much easier to get along rather than fight.
The kids are getting older....Evan, now 14 has dyed his hair black...and with his piercing blue eyes gets told he looks alot like Adam Lambert, lol and the girls are always calling...Josh (19) is on his own...living in an apartment and sporadically going to college, Emma (13) is playing the cello, loves all things Asian and anime, and has really sprouted her social butterfly wings, Ian (12) is still the home body that he has always been....I do believe that we will have to drag him kicking and screaming when it is time for him to branch out on his own...John (11) is nervous about starting middle school...but he had a fabulous 5th grade year...and I know he will do great next year...Avery (9)...needs to be constantly entertained...recently learned the Thriller dance...and does it wherever we go, Tommy (4)..is just really fun to be around...his imagination is a hoot!
in August, we are getting an exchange student from Hong Kong...her name is Emily and she will be a senior in high school...should be fun!
