HURRAY! Summer is here...
Yea! No more getting up at the crack of dawn to get kids up and out the door to school....this weekend we mainly worked on the kitchen. It is coming along nicely. I am ready to start painting so that we can feel like we are making some progress..hopefully it will be totally done by the time Brent's brother and sister in law come visit in July. Miss Emma turned 10 this weekend also. So we went and took her to dinner and Brent dropped me (and Tommy and Avery) off at Jen's while he took the older kids to see Xmen 3. We had a wonderful visit. Love just hanging out with my girlfriends. I am so ready for Disneyworld. Brent is so funny..he has it all planned on what parks and what rides and what times etc etc...which is funny, because last time I went, I basically did the same thing..but I think he is even more organized than I was...it is so nice to have a wonderful husband who enjoys all of the family things...*pinch me*! This summer we will mainly be swimming, library, Aquarium, hanging with friends...just love summertime! I also love my grill...feel free to let me know your favorite grilling recipe or marinade recipe. Oh yeah...and while we were working on the kitchen this weekend, we were listening to the radio and hehe...I won 2 tickets to Sheryl Crow, 2 tickets to Paul Simon and 2 tickes to Bonnie Raitt. Love winning free stuff :) I sooo have to go see the Dixie Chicks when they come!! Alrighty..buzzer just went off on the washer and I still have to make the beds. Hope everyone had a terrific Memorial Day. Oh yeah...I have updated my photoblog...we also went to a wedding on Saturday where Avery was the flowergirl. Fun!
