I was walking to the busstop after work and a tourist from further south stops and asks the lady at the sidewalk sale "We're looking for some good eatin places in Canal Park" - in Duluth we call them eatin' places "restaurants"...it's French.

Waiting at the busstop I was holding my fleece cow-spot blanket under my arm (it freezes at work, but i was bringing it home) and this nasty old guy - probably either drunk or senial - walks past me and points at it and says "nice puppy"
Preeeeeeeeeeetty sure I'm in love with Andrew de Torres (ok AND eric bowley, too). Why I get these stupid little-girl crushes still is beyond me. But he's so pretty. So what if he's only like 18. I'm convinced I need to get myself a singer. Life will never be right without one.
