Today I got a call from a friend I hadn't heard from in at least a year. He wanted to know if we could chill and give him a ride to another friends house after. We chill and I find out something that will save me lots of time and money in the future so that's a plus. We end up hanging out too long and the guy he's meeting up with is pissed off so we have to leave. My friend asks me to stop at the store and grab him a blunt and he would pay me back later. I go in and it's $1.60 for the blunt, I give him $1.75 and he gives me the change. Outside my friend is watching a guy pacing back and forth and just generally freaking out as he walks away from the bus stop. As I come out of the store the man approaches me and ask me if I have 15¢ for bus fare. I look down in my hand and I have just that, 15¢ exactly. I don't even think twice and hand him the change. What if we had been on time today? I know some one else would have probably would have helped him. But I was right there the first person he asked and I had the exact amount he needed to get where he was going out and ready in my hand. It made me feel good.
