I feel a lot better than I did two days ago when my pain was beyond anything I could have ever imagined. It was a very frightening scenario, as I had started hyperventilating about a few minutes after being splashed in the face with the grease I was cooking with. I had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance because my mom was afraid I was going into shock. I've never had this type of experience before and even though I've never been burned to such a degree I'm aware of how painful and damaging burns can be. The pain was unbearable and I kept trying to stop it with cold water (as I got burned very badly on my left ear). I can remember my mom telling me not to touch it and me just crying, because in that moment I felt really small like a child and just needed her and she was there for me.
They gave me morphine to stop the pain and then a shot that still has my right shoulder hurting. They didn't keep me for long, just gave me some cream and a prescription. My follow-up appointment is tomorrow morning. I would like to thank all those who are wishing me well and a speedy recovery, I thank you. And I would also like to thank my family and my mom who kept telling me: 'don't worry, I'm right here.' Words can not describe how much I love her and how thankful I am to have her for moments just like this. There is never a time when you don't need your mom, that's for sure. I would also like to thank God, because it could have been so much worse.
I'm working on updates slowly, and my stories will most likely be updated in this order: Caged Heart, chapter two. 'Bourne' From Hate, chapter nine, part two. The last scandal of my life, part two and Skip Heart!, chapter six. As well as possibly a new chapter fic I have been brain-storming and some one-shots for other fandoms. Ganbatte! Fighting! ^_^
