Birthday!
Well, the 21st wasn't *so* bad. Everybody seemed to think that going to Iowa was a dumb idea when I could have stayed in Indiana and gone out to bars with friends, and I partly agreed. Turns out though, in Iowa, you can sell alcohol on Sundays (::boggle::)! Which means that I actually got to go to a winery and taste some really awesome specialty wines (and buy them, too!) on my actual birthday. Anyway, so I did that, then we went to Outback for dinner and they serve Cooper's! (Aron would be especially happy about that.) So, of course I had to have one. My parents finally got my baby fixed. I'm so happy, because now I can take real pictures, instead of those annoying digital snapshot photos that I'd become accustomed to. They also got me this really cool camera bag and four (!) new lenses. Granted, they forgot to buy film, but we fixed that at the Wal-Mart down the street from their house. My other big present was from my little brother. Shock of shocks, he remembered my birthday, and gave me his guitar! He'd barely allowed me to touch it before Sunday, let alone take it home with me. Overall, not a bad birthday. The drive home to Bloomington sucked, but it's a seven hour drive, what did I really expect?
Maybe I'll head out to the bars sometime in the near future, just to say I've done it.
