(no subject)
So another year has gone by. Today I turned the big 19 lol. Its weird to think I've been a legal adult for a year hahah. One of my camp kids asked me how old I turned and I said 19 and she was like "wow I thought you were an adult! Like 22 or something!" Lol my kids are funny.
Anyway to put my history minor to good use here is a list of people who share my birthday and interesting things that happened in various July 17ths throughout time. (because I know your all so interesting)
People who share my birthday:
- 1763- John Jacob Astor -one time richest man in the U.S
- 1912- Art Linkletter- that old man who hosted that nerdy show my mom mom used to watch with the nerdy little kids who sang things like "L is for the way you look at me, O is for the only one I see....."
- 1952- David Hasselhoff- I'm sure everyone wishes they shared there special day with him
Things that happened on my birthday:
1861: Congress issued paper money- hmmmm so we havy my day to thank for having cash in our pockets lol
1867: 1st permanent dental school opens up at Harvard- I'll remember that next time I'm getting a cavety filled
1918: Longest errorless baseball game Cubs beat 2-1 in 21 innings- hmmmm so my Phils were just as pathetic 88 years ago
1954 Construction begins on Disneyland - cool beans :)
1955: Disneyland opened
1968: Beatles movie "Yellow Submarine" premiers in London- greaaat song!
