oh my, we just had the best dinner last night. K and I had another couple over (a thank you for helping us out) and I cooking a lovely dinner. Coccunut curry chicken, its sorta Thai. Had it with jasmine rice and a mango salad. Also had a lovely white simpatico from a local winery. VA had some good wineries! Anyway, 2 bottles later, we were having a great time. I do love our front porch. Lots of plants, its completely covered (very good b/c it rained last night), and plenty of sitting room. Aaaah, this truly is the life. I am very happy here in Roanoke with my/our friends and family. I wouldn't ask to be anywhere else right now.
I did get some bad news however. I was checking out our commissions for this, next and the next month and they are going to be pretty damn low. Aaah, this is not good, K will be going back to school and drastically cutting back her hours at work. We do have money saved up but I didn't want to use that. Wanted a new car in Jan intead. Oh well, don't stress out now!
