Well it's been a week so I suppose it's 'bout that time again...
Officially, there is nothing new to report. It's been a pretty bland week, between working, writing, working, meetings, working, et cetera. Actually, it's been pretty conspicuous in it's inconspicuousness. Had one of my patented date/non-dates with Samantha, whose life seems to have turned south at the same time mine did, so I did what I always do, held her hand while she cried, held her close when she spoke, and held her hair when she threw up. It was rather sad to watch, but she's tougher than me at times, I suppose it's that I-live-in-the-middle-of-nowhere-and-have-to-fend-for-myself bit. Let's see, no baseball to report on other than the Yanks getting Bobby Abreu and Corey Lidle from the Fightins' for a song and dance, and as of yet no one has stolen anyone else from the Devil Rays. Not sure about the Cubs and Mets, but I'll check that in the upcoming hour or so... NFL camps have opened so it may be time to head down for a practice day or two in wonderful Davie, FL, also NCAA practices should be gearing up soon, though I can't seem to find an actual start date.
Anyway, this is all small talk and probably a waste of your time, so I'll sign off for now.
Congrats to Kim and her roomie on the new house. :)
