Between the sun and the Heartland

Jul 07, 2007 19:04

well ok so i took a lot of pictures, and if you are just now loading this IT Might Take A Long time

But theres a lot of cool stuff in here so Hold tight its worth it

maybe

First lets start with driving out of Phoenix

Scott was a big grouch and bitched and moned becouse we where up so early

but that was his idea

his Plain

NOT MINE

but then again scott is always the victum

i wanted to start a little later

and stop in denver

then we got to Flagstaff in about 2 hours as should happen

flagstaff has Humphreys Peek

the highest point in Arazona
but its only like 12000 feet

yep as you my loyal Fans may remember i climed it

but as when someone desides that you are going to spend 1400 Miles in a car and only stop when absolutly nessasary

we quickly found our selfs out of Flagstaff

say good by to the mountins

but do not worrie

they will be back!

for it dose not look like much
but we are accualy on top of a big flat mountin

or something like that

I DONT KNOW THATS WHAT THEY TOLD ME

and becouse scott has no since of what if fun

we did not stop in Meteor city or meteor crator

Sad

by funny looking building near the large hole in the ground

Soon we where in indiean country

Navajo to be exact

and when in this area you will find

as well as DINOSORS LOOK OUT!

ooh Arazona....what is arazonas state slogan?

humm
ive never really payed much attion

well who cares lets get on with this where getting to New Mexico now

now we are still in Navajo Country but around the freeway we are not in the reservation

or so they say

somthing about mountins that make me pull out the camera

somewhere in here we camm accross a lava flow that is suppose to be over 2000 years old or something like that

Now here Scott wanted to stop
when i wantd to stop NOOO

but he wanted to stop

and then we made it to Albamacurky

about here is when you start comming back to earth and seeing things that are more earth like

like trees, and flowing water

but the mouthins come back in a big way
all the way to denver

well maybe not that big quite yet

near roton, just before the border into Colorado

thats where the mountis come back

the sign reads "welcome to Collorful COllorado"

and it is here that the light fades away and the camera is almost not usable anymore

we say good Night to the sun
and hello to the night
as we drive on
