oh man oh man oh man :(:(:( poor Eames!! Oh god!

This chapter really killed me--his reaction, and Arthur's seem really real to me, really authentic...Arthur apologizing again and again...I feel like that is exactly what I would be doing in his position...and Eames, how he's so out of it, and still so fucked up, and grasping at straws, trying anything to feel better....as much as he wants to be alone, I want him to open up, or at least allow himself to depend on Arthur!! Oh god! The two of them are killing me!! I feel like here, you can really see how much Arthur loved/loves Eames, and is devastated on his behalf....

I feel like your story really and truly shows the devastating effect dreamsharing can have on people...what happened to Eames was awful, but the fact that it happened in his mind makes it even worse...there are no battle scars, no open wounds, no physical evidence--his mind is sacred and meant to be untouchable, but it was brutalized in the worst possible way, and the effect it has on the rest of his life is excruciating....with one fell swoop they destroyed his entire life....and that is so so heartbreaking :(

can't wait for more of this, and hopefully some healing...?

As always, thank you for such great a great comment! I think the world of dreamsharing is really interesting because it could be used for such bad purposes... even in the film, they kind of hint about how they're changing something really fundamental about Fischer, but inception is REALLY dark if you think about it! And what I've done to poor Eames is even darker. But I think dreamsharing could be used so effectively to destroy someone, its scary really. Anyway, this comment is a bit babbling, but thank you very much for your nice comment. More coming soon, with some healing coming eventually... hopefully. ;)
