Some say she didn’t change at all. Still the same spoilt brat as she was when they were kids. She didn’t bear responsibility for anything she did. She was the beloved daughter of her pureblood parents.
She had everything given on a golden tray. Well, maybe except for the Prophecy. That was her only failure. The one that taught her life.
For once, she could not behave like a cat- the way she used to. This time she couldn’t hide, for He would find her everywhere. This was the lesson that cost her much.
So maybe she did change, eventually.
