I am sooooo ready for this.
What does WorldCupReady mean, you ask ??
240 16.9 ounce bottles of Dr. Pepper.
60 avocados
6 bottles Sousa Tequila (for the guacamole)
32 bags of chips (one for each match)
24 2-liter bottles of Dr. Pepper (for backup)
120 cans of Dr. Pepper (double backup)
25 pizza coupons (for deliveries)
12 bottles Knob Creek Kentucky Bourbon
8 bottles Wild Turkey Kentucky Bourbon (for those who can't handle the Knob Creek)
24 packages of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese (quick and easy)
Various groceries packed into kitchen Refrigerator
Ice machine in garage borrowed from local caterer
3 televisions arranged in a semi circle
2 VCRs going
1 Weber 26,000 BTU Dual Burner Gas Grill on patio
1 Sears Kenmore Compact Stainless Steel Refrigerator (for the Dr. Pepper) on patio and
1 Spare refrigerator (borrowed from neighbor) in the garage
2 Lazy Boy $1200 blue leather recliner chairs (situated at precise viewing angles in front of the TVs)
1 Huge couch behind the chairs (folds out into a bed)
Various other essentials (stacks of paper towels, paper plates, TP, even an extra garbage can borrowed from neighbor, etc)
Sign on door which reads, "Knock and die" (I need to remember to remove that if I order a pizza :-)
In other words, no need to the house until all 64 matches are over !!!!
Any suggestions ? Anything I've missed ?
Then I get an email from my friend T saying she is single again and telling me she knows I'm involved with "that soccer thing" but to call her if I need a break....
With my luck, she'll find a new guy by the 10th of next month....
