Stumbling upon a news item on Yahoo about the coming 20th anniversary Live-Aid DVD, I was led to the official website for Sir Bob. Featured therein is some great Boomtown Rats content, with some awesome photos (they always had the most photogenic pizzazz of any New Wave band) as well as some musical dissertations (including a review for their debut album as it appeared in Melody Maker in August 1977.)
One lifelong fan has an article on there with a comment I've waited a looong time to hear from another person: "I consider the Rats to be as important as the Clash or Pistols during a few year period of time."
