curiosity manifesto
OK, why does the LJ icon for the "curious" mood look so sad? That's not what curiosity looks like! Puzzlement, perhaps. Perplexitude, if only it were a word. But not curiosity!
Curiosity is a gift. It is to be enjoyed and encouraged. It lets us learn languages (not to mention everything else), read books, and discover the wonders of other people, places, and, while I'm at it, things.
So there.
(OK, so maybe the icon doesn't look all that sad. It's arguably kinda neutral. But I've said something that deserves saying every once in a while, so I'm posting anyway.)
