I'll take peepshows for $60, Art
It was mamallama's debut today as an official artist. (To think she's been unofficially artisting all this time....) For those that didn't make it, her "Peeps Gone Wild" video can be found on YouTube (approx. 4:45).
The fun thing about art is that works can be interpreted in many different ways. One painting I saw looked like two cases of lipstick pointing in opposite directions within a human head... or was it fingers? (The actual title went down a totally different road.)
While hanging out with l'artiste, I also met blairly and oncee. On my way to introductions, I almost tripped over the sound system electrical cord in the studio with snacks in hand, so I was bit rattled and unfocused.
(In full disclosure, my father now apparently has a sworn enemy in oncee. Dad graduated from Nicholas County HS while oncee's profile says he went to Richwood. Since Richwood is also in Nicholas County, their inferiority complex compels RHS grads to call NCHS "Summersville High" instead. In a comeback brilliant enough for a 5-year-old, NCHSers call the Lumberjacks' hometown "Poorwood.")
