FREE I-PODS

Wanna learn how you can get a free i-pod and help me get one in the process? Check out the info behind the cut :)

Your probally thinking "pshht bullshit, nothing is free" well your wrong you can get free ipods.

Freeipods.com is a part of a company called Gratis Internet who specialize in online pay-for-performance acquisitions. Other than iPods, you can get CDs, DVDs, flatscreen tv/monitors, etc FOR FREE. They are even listed at the Better Business Bureau website.

The point of the program is to sign up with one of their offers (at no cost to you - most do not require a credit card number) and then get 5 of your friends to do the same thing. After they have verified that you and your 5 friends have indeed completed ONE offer EACH, they will send you a FREE iPOD RIGHT TO YOUR DOOR. But how can they do this, you ask. Well, many people do not fully complete the offer - say they just do their offer and can only get 3 friends to complete their offer - and thus, the company makes a profit from those sign ups and they do not need to send an iPod for the unfinished process. It is only when people COMPLETELY go through with the process that they will need to send an iPod, but nevertheless, they make a profit.

Regardless of how many referrals you get ( +5), you can only get ONE iPod.

How do I sign up? How can I get an iPod then? Got any tips/tricks?

Firstly... YOU MUST LIVE IN THE UNITED STATES!!! If you don't, then you could still do it if you have close family and friends living in the U.S who are willing to help you out.

1.Sign up for a new email address, one that you CAN CHECK (to get the confirmation email) but don't mind if it gets flooded with spam (hey, spam for a free iPod, better than the "free" spam you get now anyways). I suggest Yoggin .
After you've signed up, be sure to check for the confirmation email in the Bulk folder! Don't sign up with gmail as the confirmation email will not go through due to its spam filters!

2. Now comes the part where you sign up at freeipods.com. If you use Mozilla Firefox, you may have issues with the signup process. So if possible, use Internet Explorer.

3. After you submit your [new] email and a password, it will ask you if you want to partake in various offers. Just click NO to all of them until you eventually get to the page that asks you to type in some friends emails to refer them to this offer. I'd advise you to refer your friends at this time to get a legs up on the whole free ipod process (and so your friends won't have already signed up as is the case if you wait too long), but you can always refer your friends later on once you've signed in to your account. Also, note, your own referral link is on the bottom of the page: use it to refer those 5 friends/people to get YOUR free iPod!

4. Next, you must complete one of the offers. You have a selection of signing up for AOL, Video Professor, GM Card, and others.

TIP: I suggest you go with the eBay offer because you do NOT need to use a credit card to sign up for this deal and it is a complete breeze. All you have to do is use an email that comes with your ISP (internet service provider) or one from a domain - anything but a free email like Yahoo, Hotmail, etc. If you don't have a free email address at your ISP, sign up at bigpuns.com (or some free email brought to you by a domain) as it will work fine. Use that NON-FREE email when you are signing up for eBay - if you don't, you will be presented with a page to type in your credit card/debit info but you can just go click on "enter second email". Just follow the instructions to finish the sign up process at eBay. BUT THAT IS NOT IT TO GET CREDIT FOR THIS OFFER, you must also become the highest bidder on an auction. All you have to do is find one of those 7-day listing auctions for a brand new, working digital camera (worth hundreds) that is currently at $1 or so and will definitely go WAY up in price before the auction ends. Obviously, you won't win the auction if your highest bid is $50 or less. Either way, use your judgement to find an auction that you can easily become the highest bidder AT ONE POINT and won't win (unless you want to win it). After you're all signed up and have been a highest bidder on an auction, you will be credited with this offer within a day or 2 (read related note on eBay credit).
If the eBay option is not available, although it usually is, then you can sign up with one of the AOL offers because it is easy to cancel and a reputable company. The number to cancel is 1-800-827-6364. Whichever option you do go with, that requires you to cancel before getting billed, give it a few days for freeipods.com to credit your account so don't cancel before it has counted. Read related note about offers completed on weekends.

5. Now comes the part where you have to talk 5 people to do the same thing. It's a tad harder than it seems because people tend to be cynical about anything that is free.

6. When you have finally gotten those 5 people to complete one offer and you too have completed your offer, you can log in to your account to see your status to confirm everything is completed. Then, you'll need to confirm your shipping address (no P.O. box numbers) and the status will then change from pending to in progress to shipped. Once it's shipped, you can email them to get your tracking number to see where your iPod is. And yes, the shipping is completely free too
